Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks was an American actor, most famous for her portrayal of Joan Holloway. She played the role in seven seasons of the historical drama Mad Men from 2007-2015. In addition to receiving critical reviews, her role on the show garnered six Emmy Awards nominations in the best supporting actress category. In the course of her professional career, she was recognized for her performance in the comedy dramatic Another Period, a crime drama called Tin Star. Her voice is featured in films such as Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River and the Neon Demon, The Strangers : Prey at Night Egg, and American Woman. The voice of her character has been featured in animated films, such as Toy Story 4, Scoob!, and From Up on Poppy Hill. She began as a fashion model, and was in that field for many years prior to making her television debut with Undressed. Her first major role on the show in Beggars and Choosers. Her performance in Firefly which is a movie that was well received by critics and audiences alike, accompanied. Esquire magazine awarded her with the distinction of being the sexiest and best-looking American woman for 2010 in their annual poll.
